Rachel Ford<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Rachel trained at Guildford School of Acting to embark on a three year Musical Theatre Diploma course. Shortly before her graduation, Rachel landed her first professional role at the Open Air Theatre in Regents Park with the New Shakespeare Company.<\/p>\n

The summer season comprised of \u201cA Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream\u201d, playing a fairy and understudying the role of Hermia, \u201cLove\u2019s Labours Lost\u201d understudying the role of Jaquenetta and the musical \u201cWhere\u2019s Charley?\u201d Rachel then went on to appear in the Original UK Tour of Disney\u2019s \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d in which she understudied the leading role of Belle, before making her West End debut at the Shaftesbury theatre in \u201cThoroughly Modern Millie\u201d starring Amanda Holden and Maureen Lipman.<\/p>\n

She was a dancer in the ensemble and understudied the roles of Millie and Dorothy. Rachel played the leading role of Christine in Andrew Lloyd Webber\u2019s \u201cThe Phantom of the Opera\u201d at Her Majesty\u2019s Theatre, London. Rachel took part in a one night only charity gala performance of Sondheim\u2019s \u201cFollies\u201d at the London Palladium in which she played the role of Young Sally.<\/p>\n

Rachel was a soloist in a European tour of The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber performing in stadiums alongside Elaine Paige. Rachel has been teaching private singing students for 10 years and is really looking forward to teaching at MPAA and sharing her extensive knowledge and experience with our
